How do you find out your ring size?

The best way to find out your ring size is to visit my Petrie Terrace studio if you’re Brisbane based (or you could ask your local jeweller if they wouldn’t mind sizing your finger). Alternatively I have ring sizers that I can send to you for $5.

Can you use your own gold in a custom piece?

I can re-use your gold for a bespoke piece of jewellery, however I will need to assess your old jewellery to see if it is suitable. Recycling your gold is a more laborious process and can sometimes be more expensive. Please get in touch via email to discuss this option.

Can you use your own gemstones in a new design?

Depending on the stone I can usually re set your gemstones. Please get in touch via email to discuss this option.

What is the best way to clean your jewellery at home? 

Sterling silver will naturally tarnish over time, to clean your jewels gently wash under warm water with a toothbrush or cloth and baking soda or soap. To clean pearls it is recommended to wipe the piece with a dry soft cloth and avoid contact with any chemicals or cosmetics to maintain the pearls lustre.

Can your ring be resized?

Rings without gemstones or pearls can be resized a few sizes larger or smaller. Rings with gemstones or pearls can be made 1 or 2 sizes larger, however unfortunately I cannot reduce the size. The cost to resize will depend on the ring.

How long will my order take?

Website orders generally take 2-4 weeks however more complicated bespoke orders can take up to 3 months. If you need your order by a certain date please let me know and I’ll try my best to accommodate. You will receive a tracking number once your piece has been posted.

Do you make Gold plated pieces?

No, due to the impermanent nature of gold plating I choose not to offer this service.

Can my piece be worn all the time?

To ensure your piece stays in perfect condition, remove your jewellery before washing your hands, swimming, doing strenuous activity or using any chemicals or cosmetics.
